This Venice treasure-hunt proposal was built like a real-life game: playful, cinematic, and perfectly planned from start to finish. In the first stage of the proposal we were photographing and filming her in paparazzi style, so that she couldn't see us, it was super exciting and fun experience for all of the participants.
Together with the groom, I designed the entire โquestโ: timing, routes, hidden moments, and how we would capture everything without breaking the magic. It began casually at a cafรฉ near the water, close to the gondola station, nothing suspicious, just a normal momentโฆ until the first puzzle arrived.
Step by step, she followed the story across Venice: a gondola reveal with her name, discreet โpaparazzi-styleโ photos as they moved through the city (we were hiding and photographing even from a taxi boat), and new clues guiding her forward โ building excitement without her ever realizing where it was all leading.
The final stop was a palace reveal: live violin music, flowers, sweets, and prosecco waiting for them, and the proposal moment that brought the whole game to its perfect ending. After that, we continued with a relaxed photoshoot in Veniceโs most beautiful spots, now with nothing to hide and everything to celebrate.
