We had been talking and planning everything for almost a month before Andrew and Jules finally arrived in Taormina. Outfits, locations, ideasโฆ we had several photoshoots planned together, and this sunset boat session was our first one.
The funny thing is that by the time we actually met, it already felt like we knew each other forever. Andrew even told me that Jules was a little sad thinking that after all our photoshoots we wouldnโt see each other anymore. Spoiler: we're already planning our next photoshoot in Paris. We had only just started, and she was already saying she would miss me! Somehow, between all the planning, messages and excitement, we had already become friends.
We spent two hours on a boat along the beautiful Taormina coastline, surrounded by warm Sicilian light and the sea turning gold around us. We took photos, flew the drone, filmed little moments and mostly just had a lot of fun together. We also had a videographer and content creator with us, so the whole experience was captured from every angle.
After sunset, we headed to the beach for the last part of the photoshoot. The golden tones disappeared into soft blue twilight, giving us a completely different mood and some of my favorite images from the evening.
A beautiful beginning to our days together in Sicily, and definitely much more than just a photoshoot.
