Four Seasons Taormina Fashion Engagement Photoshoot
The next chapter of our time together with Andrew and Jules took us to the beautiful Four Seasons San Domenico Palace in Taormina, Sicily.
After all the planning, messages and our first cute sunset boat photoshoot, by this point it really felt like spending the day with friends. We had so much fun creating something completely different this time, a more elegant, fashion inspired and editorial couple photoshoot.
We started around the gorgeous Dolce & Gabbana cabanas, surrounded by bold Sicilian prints and that unmistakable Taormina atmosphere. It was the perfect setting for chic, luxurious photographs with an almost Italian fashion campaign feeling. From there, we wandered through the Mediterranean gardens filled with flowers and hidden corners, before moving inside the historic former monastery and its beautiful courtyard for a softer, timeless mood.
Four Seasons San Domenico Palace is such an incredible setting for a luxury engagement photoshoot in Taormina, but also for a surprise proposal, honeymoon photography or simply a romantic couple session in Sicily. Every corner gives you something completely different, from colorful Dolce & Gabbana details and lush gardens to historic architecture and intimate courtyards.

Anastasia was the best photographer!! From our first initial conversation on Instagram to the actual session she was amazing! She helped with location, outfits and all the amazing poses. You can tell she pours her heart into her photography business. She does it because she enjoys it not just for a paycheck. Weโve had photographers in the past when we went to Paris and some in the US and no one compares to her! You would be silly not to book her for your next session.
Itโs scary going to a new country not knowing anyone and scared your money and time could be potentially wasted by scammers. She was the opposite! She made us feel so at ease and welcomed.
When it came down to the actual session when we met her it felt like we were talking to our best friend. She treated us like her family. So easy going and fun.
She took us to many different spots to take pictures and gave us a brief history on the location she shot some of the pictures. She was very familiar with the area.
She was very knowledgeable on the location (Venice) and all of the cute photo ops that you see online/movies.
She had a quick turnaround on delivering the pictures to us after our photoshoot. She also made reels for us to post on Instagram. She took videos on the phone just so that we had content to post on Instagram!
If you want an in the moment photographer with excellent people skills and even better photography skills you need to book with her! We came from Texas and there is no one else I would have rather do our pictures. She was affordable and her work was amazing! 10/10 recommend her! You will not regret it!!

I would like to share my experience of working with Anastasia.
It was a pleasure from the first message we shared, I absolutely loved the enthusiasm that she displayed ๐. She was supportive in realising the idea I had, choosing right outfits, space, settings, ideas of photos, props and so much more. And all of this before the shoot ๐คช.

Anastasia went far beyond what a photographer would normally do. She spent over an hour with me before the shoot, picking out clothes, getting to know me, helping with shopping, helping me to secure a make-up artist, and lending me her own clothes for the shoot!!! She was very quick to edit and send me the photos as well. She even went further to help me with my IG grid and appeal...She is a true gem of Tuscany!!
We had the absolute pleasure of working with Anastasiia during our 10year anniversary trip to Venice, and she truly exceeded every expectation we had.
She began the prep well in advance, asked thoughtful questions about what we wanted from the shoot, and tailored everything to fit our vision. Her attention to detail and clear communication made the process easy and efficient.

It was my first time visiting Italy as well as Lake Como so I was unsure of the transportation and villas that would be available especially in winter time, however she provided me with options and we decided on a tailor-made itinerary plan. She also gave me "homework" where I had to send in photos in advance to give in an idea of what kind of vibe I was looking for. Iโm unsure whether there are enough positive adjectives to describe how amazing you were before the shoot, during the shoot and even after! Seriously the BEST experience Iโve had with a photographer. My husband is never a fan of photo shoots and when I told him Iโd book a 4 hour photoshoot, he wasnโt too happy but after the photoshoot he admitted that he had a โgood timeโ which is more than heโs ever said even from a 30 min shoot! Lol so thatโs a big deal! The pictures came out amazing.
For others reading this: Anastasia is seriously such a talented photographer who truly enjoys what sheโs doing and takes the time to understand her client and ensure they are happy. Well, where to start off with our experience with Anastasiia? This was my most favourite shoot that I have ever done and I have done many. It was 3 months in the planning. 3 months of me asking her constant questions, asking her for her opinion on outfit ideas not only for me but my husband & son as well. And she happily obliged, sending me several ideas, links, photos, and voice notes. She is not only a photographer, but a built in stylist as well. The PDF that she sends out to you is so helpful in identifying tips and tricks to help you have a successful photoshoot, and she really thinks of EVERYTHING! She is a real artist with her craft and is not only an incredible photographer, but an amazing person with amazing passion for what she is doing. And that really reflects in her work. You will see, if you haven't seen already on her lovely, vibrant social media pages where her personality & pure talent shines so bright. Before I even met Anastasiia, it felt like she was one of my close friends and we knew each other for years. I truly cannot express how helpful she was in the pre photo shoot phase, helping me perfect every detail (and trust me, I am highly detailed oriented person). But it never bothered her, she was always happy to reply at all hours of the days, the weekends, it didn't matter. The response time was always speedy fast. Anastasiia was incredibly flexible with my schedule given it was a little tricky determining a date for the shoot with my husbands job. We changed dates several times and she was always understanding and even kept days open for me in case of a last minute schedule or weather change (yes, even a Saturday evening!!!). Coming to the photoshoot, when we met, it felt like giving a great friend a huge hug! It was so relaxed and she made me feel so comfortable. And my husband, who doesn't like to take photos, really enjoyed the experience with her. On top of that, we had a young child and a dog.... yes, and still, everything went great! And you can't imagine the perfect shots that she got of all of us- not an easy task. We all had fun! I had the time of my life taking photos and trying new poses, with her gentle and encouraging recommendations. If you don't feel comfortable or confident posing, know that Anastasiia will be the best photographer for you. She is so natural and calm and it really feels so effortless with her. My favourite thing about Anastasiia's business style, and what I respect so much about her, is that she gives you the opportunity to see your photos in raw version, and chose which ones you like. This is so incredibly rare and not something I have seen any other photographers do. If this doesn't prove just how important it is to her for you to LOVE your photos, what does? I had my final version photos that my husband and I chose, edited and back to me in less than a week. Incredible turn around time given all of the editing and perfecting that I requested of her. She spent so much time to get everything just *right*. What else can I say? If you are looking for a photographer in Italy, you don't need to look further. She is a magician and will make all your photo dreams come true <3 I can't wait to do more photoshoots in the future because I feel so inspired by working with her, for new ideas and locations and outfits. The photo shooting with Nastia in Venice has been a really an interesting experience. Difficult to not be involved by her enthusiastic mood, in fact she was able to convince us to wake up at 5 in the morning in order to catch the perfect light at the sunrise... Ok the begining was a little traumatic, but she really knows how to make It simple and funny!..
She think about all the details for you, suggestion for the outfit, how to pose and the best scene according with your ideas... and the results was wonderful!
Of course at the end we don't forget to celebrate It having a prosecco and cicchettos together in a tipical 'baccaro' there!!

Honestly I donโt know where to start, planning a surprise proposal all by yourself comes with many frustrating logistical issues. Fortunately I found Anastasiia! I only had 2 days before my upcoming trip to Italy to find the perfect person and I reached out to her with very minimal hope. First of all when I found her page, she had such amazing photo shoots! From the top to bottom every picture looked amazing! I knew I had to reach out to her immediately! Originally I saw that she was already booked for the rest of the year but to my surprise, she reached back out and decided to make time for what became a beautiful moment! It is very uncommon for people to decide to help you out especially when it takes time out of their own free time! That is exactly what she did! At first we spoke on the phone and she was so passionate about her work and she was very invested in getting to know our story and to know exactly who my now fiancรฉe is! We talked on the phone for hours! She cares about everything! To my opinion she now knows my fiancรฉe just as much as me! It was such a relief finding someone as helpful as her. As far as logistics goes, she knows the most beautiful spots in all of Italy! Her ability to come up with the perfect plan to make sure my fiancรฉe had no clue the proposal was coming made the day so much better! The day of the surprise proposal shoot, we ran into issues as far as getting to what was such a beautiful location! Anastasiia did not hesitate at all to practically immediately fix the issue we had. She coordinated a driver to pick us up and drive us around to multiple locations before taking us to the scenic view for the proposal! I got nervous as we started to lose a bit of sunlight but even then the way she uses her camera made such a perfect outcome for the pictures! You can throw all the stress out the window when you are working with her because she absolutely knows what sheโs doing and does not hesitate to tackle and solve any issues! She knows everything! She knew exactly what time of the day would be most beautiful, and she even recommends what you should wear based off the location! She does so much for you! How can you not choose her to arrange this moment for you?! She makes up a plan so clear and precise that it feels so natural and adds to the shock value of proposing. She really made this experience as comfortable and stress free as possible! In the very end, the pictures we got back are so amazing! When I first saw her instagram page, it was beautiful pictures of people and now when I look at it I see myself proposing to the love of my life and there isnโt anything more special than that! If you donโt pick her to help you create the perfect moment then you are mistaken! Anastasiia did an incredible job capturing my proposal in a beautiful garden setting in Florence. My fiancรฉ was completely surprised, thanks to the way Anastasiia orchestrated everything. Ohโฆand Anastasiia pulled it all together for me with less than 24 hours notice!
She and her partner just happened to bump into my girlfriend and I as we walked thru the garden. Then she asked if we would take some photos of her and her partner. Then when it was our turn to have them photograph us, the scene was set for my proposal to begin. Every moment was captured on photo and video.
Did I mention that Anastasiia also had her partner put a mic on my shirt just beforehand? Yepโฆeverything I saidโฆthe whole proposalโฆas well as my ladyโs response and emotions were all caught on video with full audio. So we now have this memory in full video and sound FOREVER.
After the proposal, Anastasiia continued to impress us by taking additional photos and video around the garden, and in the beautiful lobby and bar area of the hotel on property. Today we keep scrolling thru all the content that Anastasiia captured, thinking to ourselves how amazing the settings, the photos, the colors, the lighting, the EVERYTHING about these photos and videos turned out for us.
At first I thought Anastasiiaโs fees were a bit high. But in hindsight, having someone to help coordinate the whole experience, take such incredible photos and videos, capture every moment so magically, edit everything so it looks PERFECT, and deliver the coolest reel in less than 24 hours!!!!! In the end, the experience and captured memories that Anastasiia provide me and my lady on such a special dayโฆjustified the price.

From the moment you reach out, I take care of the entire planning: scouting the perfect location for your vision, timing the session around the light and the crowds, and being there as your on-the-ground guide for everything. I know these locations not as a tourist, but as a local, and that knowledge is yours for every hour we spend together.
During the session itself, I give you natural posing guidance, so neither of you will ever feel awkward or stiff in front of the camera. The result is images that feel completely real, because they are.
Most clients choose 2 to 4 hours of coverage, enough time to experience the proposal together, let the emotions breathe, and capture not just the proposal, but the whole story around it. Travelling from far and having only the proposal moment captured is too rushed, and makes sense only is the budget is tight. Many invest around โฌ2,000 to โฌ3,000 for extended coverage and a more complete experience. For more elaborate proposals involving private locations, flowers, musicians, boats, videography, or fully bespoke setups, packages start from around โฌ5,000 and can be tailored far beyond that.
